Biketoberfest runs from Thursday to Sunday. It's a short and sweet weekend break packed with all things Motorcycle and Biker related. There are many hotels to choose from or you can RV and camp out at the Cabbage Patch. We chose to stay at the Daytona Grand which is about a mile walk to Daytona Main St, and comes highly recommended by me. We have stayed there the last two Daytona Rallies and love it. If you are not riding, Uber is very dependable and in plenty at the rally.

Daytona is about four hours ride from Miami which is where I live, so once I park my bike up at the hotel, I'm happy to take Ubers to escape the heat and traffic. If you are travelling in from out of state, you will probably want to get some riding in, and the Daytona Loop seems to be popular with riders, which takes you over the Halifax River with several places to stop and take in the Florida countryside. New Smyrna Beach is a popular destination when at the rally, they host Motorcycle racing there and Biketoberfest had vintage bike racing, which unfortunately I didnt get to attend. Next time!

My first stop is always Main Street Daytona, where the party is in full swing day and night. It does get busy so be prepared for that, but you get to see some amazing Motorcycles and people dressed up to be seen. There are lots of shops selling rally and biker stuff and a few vendors. If you are hungry and want to grab a snack or sit for for dinner, there are plenty of street food vendors and restaurants to choose from. I'm a big fan og Hyde Park Restaurant whitch is located at 100 North Atlantic Ave. The steak is seriously delicous! And if you like cocktails, this is the place for you.

The famous Iron Horse Saloon is my favourite area and place to visit during the rally. It has tons of vendors, places to sit and enjoy a drink, the people watching isnt bad either.

The Iron Horse Sallon is a really cool enviroment to be in, it has live bands playing, an official Iron Horse Saloon Store if you want to grab souveniers. There are plenty of places to sit, and they even have a wall of death motordome. In my opinion a must when at the rally.

Destination Daytona is where Teddy Morse's Harley Davidson Dealership is located. It's a large dealership with a barbers shop at the entrance and large clothing selection. The bikes for sale are on the ground floor, with footwear, more rally clothing, and vintage bikes on the first floor.

So, if you are thinking about visiting the Sunshine State, and have never been to Daytona Bike Rally held in March, or Biketoberfest in October, I would definitely recommend the vist and rally experience.
